Everything is read from the game's code, unless stated otherwise

The essentials

  1. Take the quest: Swinedimples Academy (from: Starflight Express obtained (back to the world below); a party member with 30+ points in “Boomerang Skill”)
  2. The request: A student at Swinedimples is troubled, and wants you to defeat a metal slime with a Power Throw to prove your boomerang skills. Once you've done that, it sounds like he has something else he needs to ask you to do.
  3. Find: what the request names
    • Metal slime — Earliest: Quarantomb – Interior - Lv 1 — 6.2% (7.7% of battles)
    • Boomerang — Simplest: buy it, 750 G (Porth Llaffan – Weapon & Armour Shop).
  4. Quest items received along the way:
    Boomerang
  5. Reward (first time):
    Eaglewing
  6. Unlocks: 86 · Brave the Caves
