Characters: French, English and Japanese names

The essentials

The hero (or heroine) is silent and made by the player, like the companions. The 24 characters below have their official names, read from the game's dialogue (the name written before each line) in French, English and the Japanese version. Translations often change names: Bérangère, Erinn and リッカ (Rikka) are the same innkeeper.

On monster and place pages, the “Game version” setting (Japan) also adds the Japanese names. Roles say who they are early in the story; the “Where you meet them” column also names late-game places.
