1. The Observatory and the Guardian's mission
First mission in Angel Falls (after seeing Yggdrasil)
- The game starts in the Observatory: you arrive with a Benevolessence crystal gathered in Angel Falls.
- Go up to level 2 and talk to Apus Major; Aquila and Columba are talking in the next room.
- Leave by the top: the guard lets you through since Apus Major sends you to offer the benevolessence. Climb every staircase up to Yggdrasil (three chests on the way) and offer it the crystal.
- Go back down to Apus Major: he gives you your first mission. The way down to the world below is kept by the Celestrian on level 1.
The game's own summary
Your hero has delivered a crystal of benevolessence gathered in Angel Falls to mighty Yggdrasil, setting the Great World Tree aglow.
Benevolessence gathered in Angel Falls

- Help them in secret to gather their gratitude. The first crystal comes from the stable (south-west: clean it out) or from the church (give the Keepsake ring back to the old lady).
The game's own summary
In order to reap more benevolessence by aiding the mortals under his care, your hero has returned to Angel Falls in the Protectorate.
Aquila takes you back to the Observatory
- Get the other two: the stable or the church (whichever you haven't done), then the lost spirit in the north-east of the village.
- With three crystals, Aquila takes you back to the Observatory.
The fall from the Observatory to Angel Falls
- Go up to Yggdrasil and offer it the three crystals. Long scene: beams of light strike the Observatory and you fall to the world below.
The game's own summary

The Observatory was attacked by beams of light, causing your hero to plummet from the heights down to Angel Falls. Although kindly helped by a young woman called Erinn who runs an inn there, your hero has suffered a devastating blow: he has lost his halo and wings...
